FaultyPacket ("we", "our") builds local-first browser extensions and security diagnostic utilities, including FaultyPacket Security, DNS & PHP2Shell Inspector and FaultyPacket Clean Table & BI CSV Exporter.

1. Zero Personal Data Collection

Our Chrome extensions execute 100% locally inside your web browser. We do not operate any analytics trackers, telemetry servers, or remote logging endpoints inside our extensions.

No browsing history tracking: Our extensions only run when you explicitly click the extension icon on the currently active tab (via the Chrome activeTab permission).
No table or document exfiltration: Table and grid data extracted by FaultyPacket Clean Table & BI CSV Exporter never leaves your device; CSV/TSV files are generated in local browser memory.
DNS Lookups: FaultyPacket Security, DNS & PHP2Shell Inspector queries Google Public DNS-over-HTTPS (https://dns.google/resolve) solely for the domain of the active tab when you open the popup to read public SPF and DMARC records.

2. License Keys & Local Storage

If you activate a Pro license key, the key status is stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local or localStorage. Payment processing is handled externally by Stripe.
